The Protocol

How Nervous System Recovery Sessions Work

A structured clinical protocol targeting autonomic nervous system function. Three stages, measurable outcomes, no fixed script. Here is exactly what happens — from first contact to documented physiological shift.

Three Stages

From first contact to measurable shift

Each stage has a specific function. Nothing is decorative. Nothing is administrative padding.

1

Intake Assessment

30 minutes · Complimentary · Via Google Meet

The intake assessment establishes your autonomic baseline before any protocol work begins. This is not a sales call. It is a structured clinical intake covering symptom history, current autonomic indicators, relevant context, and your primary functional objectives.

At the end of the intake, you will have a clear picture of your current autonomic state and a specific protocol recommendation. You are under no obligation to continue.

What we cover Symptom history, sleep, stress response patterns, energy, cognitive function
What you receive Autonomic baseline assessment, protocol recommendation, session plan
What happens next You decide whether to proceed. No pressure, no follow-up sequence.
2

Initial Protocol Block

4 sessions · 50 minutes each · Via Google Meet

The initial block is where measurable work begins. Four sessions over 4 weeks, each beginning with an autonomic state assessment and proceeding with targeted vagal activation work calibrated to your current state.

Most clients report perceptible change — in sleep quality, stress response, or cognitive clarity — within the first 2–3 sessions. Measurable HRV improvement is typically documented by session 4.

Session structure Baseline assessment → targeted intervention → post-session integration
Between sessions Email support available. Simple daily practices provided where relevant.
Outcome tracking HRV proxies, sleep log, stress response self-report tracked across sessions
3

Review & Continuation Decision

20 minutes · Included · Via Google Meet

After the initial block, a structured review session assesses measurable change against baseline. HRV data, sleep quality, stress response, and executive function are compared against intake measures.

Based on outcomes, one of three paths is recommended: continuation with an extended program, maintenance sessions at reduced frequency, or discharge with a self-directed maintenance protocol.

If change is measurable Continue with extended program or move to maintenance frequency
If change is insufficient Protocol is modified before continuation. No continuation without adjustment.
If objectives are met Discharge with self-directed maintenance protocol and open return policy
Inside a Session

What happens during 50 minutes

Every session follows the same structural logic. The content varies entirely based on your autonomic state at the start of that session.

1
Minutes 0–10

Autonomic State Assessment

We begin with a structured check-in covering current sleep quality, energy, stress indicators, and somatic markers. This is not small talk. It establishes the protocol configuration for the session — which interventions, in which sequence, at what intensity.

2
Minutes 10–40

Targeted Intervention Protocol

The core session work. Depending on current autonomic state, this may involve respiratory patterning for vagal activation, somatic regulation sequences, co-regulation work, or HRV coherence training. The approach is adjusted in real-time based on physiological response.

3
Minutes 40–50

Integration & Documentation

The final segment covers integration of the session work, any between-session practices relevant to your current state, and documentation of observable changes. Post-session notes are sent within 24 hours.

What you need for a session

A quiet space where you will not be interrupted. A stable internet connection for Google Meet. Approximately 60 minutes including transition time before and after. No preparation required beyond that.

What you do not need

No prior experience with any modality. No belief that this will work. No ability to relax on demand. The protocol works with your nervous system as it presents — not with an idealized version of it.
